Sounds like you are all doing well. It was cool to get a letter from John. I don't really know what kinds of martial arts they practice here. I think mostly it is this kinda dance thing but I have never actually seen it. Umm, what else? I got the package that Jen sent with the super glue and sprees (didn't you send that to the mtc?) Thanks! I didn't get the other one with my card in it though.

I had some dental work done. I had 2 cavities that were just starting. One that didn't hurt really before. It was a cavity that had already been filled but they said that it needed to be done again cuz it was starting to rott again so they re did it and now it hurts, haha.

Ruth's baptism fell through. We still don't know what happened. . . who is Fernando . . . I'll send a video when I get my other card and introduce you guys to everyone.

. . . this last week has been great we were talking to lots of people last Friday, I think. It was when we were walking back from a referral we gotten from some other elders (they didn't have time right then but we made the appointment) and so this guy started yelling "followers of Joseph Smith, followers of Joseph Smith" and called us over. We were kinda like, O great he's crazy yelling at us from a cross the road but he wasn't. He had heard about the church before and wanted the "Finding Faith in Christ" video and to know what kinda food was bad to eat and he had some questions about our spirits. Then he said that he wanted to learn more cuz all the other churches only had 50% of the truth so we were kinda awh struck at all this and said, OK we can teach you about all that and about the other 50% they don't have and we can come to your house and bless your family and give you that dvd. We gave him some pamplets and set up an appointment and told to read the pamplets then we left. I was thinking why didn't we teach him now but the more I thought about it the more it seems the Lord gave him to us to teach but he needs to read and learn a little more for some reason. The time wasn't right, right then. So ya, I'm pretty exciteded to go teach him this next week . . . Yay! Hurrah, for Israel!

Love you,

Elder Millyard

November 5 - Elder Leite

Hey, what’s up? Sorry its been so long in between letters, haha. (Did you start to miss me Jen? ) How’s everyone doing? I’m good. I got a new comp named Elder Leite Or Elder Milk in English. He is from Sao Paulo. He likes to skate board and bike. He is pretty cool. We get along pretty well. Last night we laid all the extra mattresses in our house down and wrestled (his idea not mine). He was ready to be done after 3 min but I made him go for another 3, haha. He’s pretty small. He is only about 135 lbs and I’m almost 170 now. So I don’t know why he wanted to wrestle in the first place but it was fun. Let’s see what else, this week we are baptizing Ruth (Hooch). She is Fernando’s sister (almost wrote sister of Fernando, haha, that’s how you would say it in Portuguese. That’s sad that I’m getting them mixed up already cuz I can bearly speak still). She is way cool. I hope I told you about Fernando already... there are 2 - one that we married. Wow, this doesn’t make that much sense. I hope you understand. There are all kinds of people I need to tell you about. Hurry and send me my other card back and I’ll make a video with all the people. So you guys can know who I’m talking about. I think the turn around time on you guys having my card should be less than a week. Well, I don’t know what else to say. I’ll write a real letter and send it sometime soon.

Love you,
Elder Millyard

Kaelee loves school now? When did that happen? Last I remember she was sitting at the table crying cuz she wouldn't just do it! haha That's awesome! They're getting awards for their hard work. Tell them to keep it up. Sounds like everyone is having fun!

Love,
Elder Millyard

P.S. No marsh mellows in Brasil. There is some candy with it but I don't think you can just buy it.

Elder Lafaele: Sadly, I´m not with Elder Millyard anymore.

(One crazy sister decided that if Elder M didn't have time to write home (2 weeks now)- he must not need letters... so I wrote my weekly note to Elder M's companion instead... here's what we found out! :)
Hi Sister,
Sadly, I´m not with Elder Millyard anymore. I´ve been transferred to a new city. It was really great working with him though. I miss him. We had a lot of fun. Don´t know if he actually learned that much from me. We were blessed with 4 baptisms at the end of our transfer. We had a lot in common but enough differences that we didn´t drive each other crazy. He´s a really smart kid and he´s got a really good plan.
Just a little about me:
I´m the youngest of 5, so I´m a sweet talker too. I´ve taken a lot of who I am from my siblings. My dad is from Samoa and my mom is from Payson, Ut.  My parents are both teachers.
I´m from St. George, Ut. I graduated in 2008.  I´ve been on the mission since November, 2008. Elder Millyard is one of my best friends here. I went to every dance except 2 throughout high school. I love dancing and music. Elder Millyard is supposed to teach me about clothing brands still.
I hope I get to meet your family sometime. I´ve already heard a lot about you and you all seem amazing. Mike´s 6 parents did a good job :)
Take care.
Elder Ta´ei Lafaele
