Representatives of Christ

This week Elder T. Freitas and I have had some really special experiences but I really only wanna talk about one. There was this lady that we contacted at the bus station and we when went to her house the other night to leave a blessing with her and her family.  When we got there, we did the intro to the blessing and then started to say the normal things and we stressed that we were here to perform God's mercies in the name of God and she said, "Why does it always happen to me?" We explained that sometimes people have problems in their lives so that God can show them His mercies and they can know His power. She told us the problem.  Her grandson is sick with bronchitis that he has had for a few years.  I told her that as Representatives of Jesus Christ and by the power of God we could heal him then asked if she had
faith for it to be done.  She said that she did. So I gave the normal blessing that we give on a home and for all the other things and after my comp gave the blessing that the boy would be cured.  The spirit was super strong.  We testified that we are Representatives of Christ's only true church and left.  It was really cool.  They were all crying and I was feeling like I would cry too.

New Companion

So the zone was kinda dead when I got here.  So what we did was had D-DAY.  We started by sending everyone from the zone to an area to make contacts then we did it in all the areas in the zone.  I'm pretty sure it will work out well and get things going again.   At the very least, it left everyone a little bit more animated.  My comp is a Brasilian from Fortaleza.  He's cool!  He has a year and 6 now. I hear he killed his last comp and his last comp was super trunky.

Well, I don't know what to say.  It's kinda cold here.  That's about it.

Love you all,

Going to Lages

So, I'm being transferred again I'm going to Lages.  Its inland and its cold during the winter so maybe it won't be supper hot during the summer.  Sounds like everyone is doing good.  I'm a little sad that I will be moving so soon but I guess that's life, right?

whatz up com vocês!?

Então, This is what my area is like in Saco dos Limões.  It is near the center of the island where Florianopolis and the mission home are located but I still need to take a bus to get there (its not in my area).
There are a lot of hills here and we go up them all the freaking time but as of right now none of our investigators that are progressing live on the hills.  We don't have a ton of investigators right now ( 2 of our baptisms freaking moved) but we're hunting for some good ones.

What else?

Oh the mail trunky that Jen sent, its totally cool, beins I'm fine, it was pretty funny. But I need the info: the name of the stake prez, the name of our stake, the emails of the stake prez, our bishop, the name
of our ward and thats it, I think.

We're totally going to have a activity pretty soon, day 22, and we should have some baptisms that day also.
You guys didn't send me a memory card and the ones I have are getting full.

Love you all,
Elder Millyard

Planning and Preparation

So I think we could do it like this.  You get a plane to Sao Paulo then to Florianopolis and get me.  We can rent a car here for like $60 a day and drive around here for a day then drive to Joinville.  The next day we can drive to Sao Bento and spend a night there and then to Curitiba and get a plane to the falls and then back to Cutitiba or to Sao Paulo or Rio and get a plane home. So a day here, spend the night, drive to Joinville in the morrning (3hour drive) spend the night in Joinville (maybe I can find some one to stay with),
drive to Sao Bento (1 1/2 hour drive) spend the night (I'm sure we can stay with a member there) and maybe part of the next day.  .  . drive to Curitiba (2 1/ 2 hour drive) ditch the car in Curitiba and get the
plane.  The plane ride to the falls is like 4 hours from Curitiba.  I think we should go there and after that I don't know but if for some reason we could get a lay over in Rio would be sweet just so i can take a pic
with the Cristus.

Love you all, sorry I don't have a lot of time today.
